A Szelidi-tó 5 km hosszú, 150-200 m széles, 3-4 m mély, hazánk ötödik legnagyobb természetes tava. A tó déli partján nyugalomba jutott futóhomok területein kellemes strandok kerültek kialakításra. A tó gyógyító hatását, amely annak jódtartalmában rejlett, már a törökök is felfedezték.
Lake Szelid Nature Reserve
Lake Szelidi is 5 km long, 150-200 m wide, 3-4m deep, the fifth largest natural lake in Hungary. Pleasant beaches have been created in the areas of quicksand that have calmed down on the southern shore of the lake. The healing effect of the lake, whichlay in its iodine content, was already discovered by the Turks
